Bring your photo ID, last year's tax return, and the Social Security numbers and dates of birth for everyone on the return. Then bring the income forms you received — W-2s and 1099s for interest, dividends, brokerage activity, retirement, Social Security, and unemployment — along with 1098 mortgage interest and property tax statements, a 1095-A if you bought health coverage through the marketplace, 1098-T or 1098-E for tuition and student loan interest, and an itemized list of charitable donations and medical expenses (receipts are not required). Self-employed or own a rental? Bring a simple profit-and-loss summary and a list of expenses. Not sure what applies to you? Call us at (201) 896-8024, ext. 5 and we will walk you through it. You can also see our full What to Bring checklist for the complete list.

Our individual returns typically range from $100 to $200 depending on complexity. That is roughly half of what national chains charge for comparable service. We give you a clear estimate before we begin. New clients receive a $25 discount on their first return.

Yes. We e-file every return for faster processing and quicker refunds. If you have a bank account with a routing and account number we can set up direct deposit so your refund arrives faster.

Three things. First, our founder Gregory Cipriano is a licensed NJ attorney, not a seasonal preparer, so your return is backed by real legal expertise. Second, our prices are a fraction of what national chains charge. Third, we build long-term relationships. Many of our clients have been with us for 15 to 20 years.

Yes. As a licensed attorney, Greg Cipriano represents clients before the IRS with the protection of attorney-client privilege, which CPAs and enrolled agents cannot offer. Whether it is an audit notice, a balance due letter, or a compliance issue, we can help.

Yes. We prepare returns for sole proprietors, partnerships, LLCs, S-Corps, and C-Corps. We also assist with entity structuring, estimated tax payments, and bookkeeping.

We are open Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and closed on weekends. If those hours do not work for you, call us at (201) 896-8024 and we will do our best to find a time that does.

Yes. Through our affiliated law firm, Cipriano and Donadio, P.C., we provide will preparation, power of attorney, estate planning, and real estate closings. This is one of the unique benefits of working with an attorney-led tax firm.

Yes. NJ/NY dual-state filing is one of our specialties. We make sure you receive proper credits and minimize your combined state tax liability.

Both. You are welcome to walk in during office hours, but we recommend booking an appointment to minimize your wait. Call us at (201) 896-8024 or book online.

Just call our office at (201) 896-8024, ext. 5, and our front desk will find you a new time. A day's notice is appreciated so we can offer the slot to someone else, but we understand that life happens.

There is metered street parking around our office at 52 Chestnut Street, and public parking at the Kip Avenue Parking Garage, 55 Kip Avenue, a short walk away. Give yourself a few extra minutes during the busy tax season.

We accept cash, check, and debit cards. Credit cards are accepted with a 3% processing fee. Payment is due when your return is completed — there is nothing to pay when you book.
